Job Description
Here are the tasks you will be expected to perform if you are hired by any of our clients.
This basic task of metal fabrication is going to form a large part of your role while working for your employer. You will be asked to do TIG and MIG fabrication, which will be part of your daily routine.
You will be expected to install basic and advanced welding tools and equipment. The ability to install traditional and modern welding equipment will be a huge plus. You will also be expected to operate this equipment. This is where your level of experience will come in handy.
Every welding task has special blueprints attached to them. Sticking to them as you work your way through the task is of utmost importance.
While this is not a major requirement, an average knowledge of how to repair basic tools will be a huge plus.
You will be required to measure materials based on approved specifications before you work on them. These calculations require basic math skills
You will be required to test and evaluate the quality of materials you are expected to cut or fabricate.
Qualifications
Only welders with at least 1-2 years of work experience as a welder in any related industry may apply. You will be expected to show proof of work experience to be hired. Furthermore, you will be asked to provide welder certification from recognized/government-approved institutions.
Other qualifications we require are as follows.
As highlighted above, previous work experience is compulsory. You ought to have worked as a welder for at least one year before the time of your application in the following industries

Any proof of work experience is enough.
You require significant knowledge of how to operate welding tools. The employer expects you to operate these tools from basic to advanced tools without the need to engage in on-site training.
Lifting and handling work materials require a lot of physical stamina. You need to be in peak physical condition and have a clean bill of health to qualify.
You have to be familiar with modern welding schematics and standards.
Having good proactive and reactive problem-solving skills is vital. Identifying problems are proffering solutions to them before they become worse is a skill that is highly recommended and appreciated.
Working with little or no supervision is crucial. Once work instructions are issued, it is imperative that you follow them to the letter with minimal supervision.
Having a strong work ethic and personal motivation is an enduring quality expected of you by the employer.
